Checks for half a billion dollars found at Western Wall

A worshipper at the Western Wall found an envelope with 507 open checks written for a total of about half a billion dollars.

Four women were detained at the Western Wall by Israeli police for trying to enter the site with prayer shawls.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a candle-lighting ceremony at the Western Wall that the site “will be ours forever.”
