Timothée Chalamet doesn’t talk much about his Judaism. But it turns out his grandfather was an important Jewish writer from the Bronx.
The A-list Jewish actor was named after his maternal grandfather, Harold “Hal” Flender, who wrote about the Holocaust and interviewed many important Jews of his time, including Isaac Bashevis Singer and Abraham Joshua Heschel.
