Cartoonist disinvited from White House defends image widely labeled as anti-Semitic

Ben Garrison says his drawing showing U.S. officials as puppets of George Soros and the Rothschilds is not a conspiracy theory but historical fact.

The newspaper also acknowledged its own historical failures to confront anti-Semitism.

“The image was offensive and it was an error of judgment to publish it,” the newspaper said in an editor’s note.
