Two U.S. congressmen expressed concern over Argentina’s decision not to allow its prosecutor in the AMIA Jewish center bombing to testify at a House hearing on Iran’s influence in South America.
Argentina will work with Iran to investigate the 1994 AMIA Jewish center bombing despite an indictment accusing Tehran of terrorist activity in South America, the Foreign Ministry in Buenos Aires said.
Jewish organizations in Argentina petitioned the country’s federal court to order the government to stop its joint probe with Iran of the 1994 terrorist attack on the Buenos Aires JCC.
