Held in Chicago, the Democratic National Convention ratified the nomination of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as the party’s presidential and vice presidential candidates. Among the Jewish speakers on the main stage were Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker. The unity-themed convention took place amid divisions over the Israel-Hamas war.
