There’s a boy named Todd who’s a little bit sweet and a little bit snarky. There’s a deity named God who likes to pay him a visit every once in a while.
In the original cartoon series The Adventures of Todd & God,God has appeared to Todd as an old black man, a techno DJ, and Al Gore (to teach about the environment, naturally). Today, the Omnipotent is an orange–and He (“He”?) is here to teach Todd about the Jewish custom of eating a new fruit on Rosh Hashanah.
Of course, Todd is a notoriously difficult customer–and finding a food that Todd hasn’t eaten is harder than it sounds. The episode includes a Sesame Street-inspired musical number, some weird and fascinating facts about Judaism, and more than a febscure kinds of fruit.
