The Union of Non-American Districts of the Independent Order B’nai Brith, at a meeting held recently in Berlin, decided that there was no inconsistency between loyalty to the Order and to Zionism, an announcement issued by the LO.B.B. headquarters here stated.
It was agreed at the meeting, which was the third held by that body, that while it would not be advisable for the Order as a whole to take an official stand on Zionism there was no reason why the LO.B.B should not, by its own methods, aid in the effort to upbuild Palestine.
It was suggested at this meeting that through the president of the Order. the American Government should be asked to investigate the troublesome conditions now prevalent in Turkey. Also it was suggested that the Constitution Grand Lodge should be urged to establish lodges in Mexico and the Argentine.
