The Zionist Organization of America will be represented at the First Continental Conference of General Zionist organizations in Latin America by its assistant executive director, Leon Ilutovich, it was announced here today by Abraham Goodman, acting ZOA president, and Jacque’s Torczyner, chairman of the ZOA Committee on World Zionist Affairs.
The conference, which opens in Santiago, Chile, on September 1, will last five days. It will map plans for the co-ordination of General Zionist activities throughout South America, particularly in connection with the preparations for the forthcoming 24th World Zionist Congress. The conference will be attended by delegates from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Bolivia and other countries. Chaim Ariav, head of the General Zionist parliamentary group in the Knesset, will attend the conference on behalf of the General Zionist party of Israel.
