Authorities today were investigating the mysterious causes of the riot which disrupted a meeting here last night of advocates of the Yiddish language in Yascha Heifetz Hall.
The Yiddishists, who are an unpopular minority in Palestine where the use of Hebrew is strenuously advocated, were in session here when the lights suddenly went out. In the confusion and melee which followed, several windows were broken and furniture was smashed. No injuries were reported.
