The eighth annual Jewish Drama Festival concluded here with the awarding of the trophy to Emanuel Levy for his play, “The Tree of Life.”
This is the third year in succession that Mr. Levy has won the trophy. The play for which he was honored tells with freshness and deep feeling of an old Jew, forever dreaming of the vanished glories of the Temple, who saves a law-scroll at the risk of his life from a burning synagogue.
