Expressing dissatisfaction with the attitude of the French press, the “Yellow Bird” stowaway expressed his sincere thanks to the French fliers and his hope to revisit Paris “this time by boat,” he told correspondents smilingly.
Schrieber’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris R. Schrieber of Portland, Maine, sent a cablegram of thanks to Lotti expressing their thanks for the kindness and tolerance shown their son.
