A program to gear the activities of the Jewish community centers to the war program will be discussed at the six-day annual meeting of the National Conference of Jewish Social Welfare, which opens here tomorrow.
More than 600 Jewish social workers from all sections of the country will participate in the sessions which will be launched tomorrow afternoon with a discussion on “The Community Center in the War.” The conference meeting is being held in conjunction with the annual gatherings of the National Association of Jewish Center Workers and the National Council for Jewish Education. The education group will initiate its meeting with a discussion tomorrow afternoon on “Jewish Education in the War for Survival.”
