Cannot the British air force now stationed in Iraq be transformed to Palestine or Trans-jordanian? This question was asked in the House of Commons yesterday by Col Josiah Wedgwood. He asked whether the crisis in the Iraq cabinet is due to their wish that the British air force be removed. The member asked the estimated cost of removing the force and equipment to Palestine or Transjordania.

Replying, Colomial Secretary Amery declared that the main question at issue relates to the local forces and not to the air force, concerning whose removal no question has arisen.
