The correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned today that the United States state department had instructed its consul here to report fully on the suspension of immigration as well as on the activities of Sir John Simpson, who will investigate land and immigration problems. The consul was also asked to convey to Washington an indication of the atmosphere here since the suspension order was made public.
