The American Committee for the Settlement of Jews in the U. S. S. R. will hold a conference next Wednesday to discuss the Biro-Bidjan question in detail, according to an announcement yesterday by Edward L. Aronow, secretary and treasurer of the group.
A report will be submitted by B. Z. Goldberg, Yiddish journalist, who recently returned from a visit to the new autonomous Jewish region in the Far East. The results of a special investigation under the supervision of Dr. Marcus Nadler will also be disclosed.
Samuel J. Rosensohn will tell of the attitude toward Biro-Bidjan of American Zionists, while James Waterman Wise and William W. Cohen will report on the activities of the committee, of which Lord Marley is honorary chairman, and Jews and non-Jews members.
