The United States proposed today, in a draft resolution to the UN Human Rights Commission on the future work program of the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, that priority be given to a study of discrimination in religion. Mrs. Oswald B. Lord, U. S. delegate, offered the resolution which would also eliminate a study of discrimination in immigration proposed by the subcommission. The U.S. resolution was supported by Rene Cassin of France and Dennis Carayannis of Greece.
