Tourism from the United States to Israel was up 15 percent during the first five months of 1954 as compared to last year, the Israel Tourist Office announced today.
It also released statistics on the number of Americans who visited Israel in the past three years, indicating a steady upward trend. The totals were: 1951-9,633; 1952-11, 470; 1953–12,639.
