The second International Young Leadership Assembly which concluded at Sdom last week, resolved to establish two new bodies involving Israeli-diaspora relations. The Israel Forum, a voluntary organization, will on a permanent basis, deepen the dialogue between Israeli and diaspora Jews with the aim of benefiting Israeli society. A second resolution called for the establishment of a permanent Jewish Service Force that would recruit Jewish youth overseas for voluntary work in Israel. It is expected to activate thousands of Jewish youths each year.
