The New Israel Fund called on Israel’s Parliament to censure Israeli politician Avigdor Lieberman. The Washington-based group, which works for religious pluralism and civil rights in Israel, said the recent suggestion by the leader of Yisrael Beitenu that Arab legislators might one day be executed made him “guilty of inflammatory rhetoric and racist incitement in a nation that must remain democratic and open to the views of all its citizens.”
