The “iron wall” separating Israel and the Arab world is falling, Israel’s foreign minister told the U.N. General Assembly. “Israel’s contacts with Arab and Muslim states are growing at a rate never seen before,” Silvan Shalom said Tuesday, noting that he had met with representatives of more than 10 Arab and Muslim countries over the last week in New York.
