The Foundation for Ethnic Understanding condemned “racist rhetoric” by a former U.S. education secretary. William Bennett said Wednesday on his radio show that crime could be reduced if you “abort every black baby in this country.” Bennett later said it was an “impossibly ridiculous and morally reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down.” The American Jewish Commitee also protested the remarks.
