A Nazi-sponsored “true Americanism” demonstration, scheduled for Feb. 20 at Madison Souare Garden, was being widely advertised today by yellow stickers on store windows that pointedly omit reference to the sponsors. The demonstration, assertedly called in celebration of Washington’s birthday, is being held under the auspices of the German-American Bund. The stickers, however, anonymously announce: “Monster Mass Demonstration for True Americanism — Monday, Feb. 20, 1939 — 8 P.M. at Madison Square Garden.”
