Stefan Zweig, the noted Jewish writer who committed suicide here together with his wife last Monday, left a greater part of his estate to Dr. M. Altman, his brother-in-law who is now serving in the British army, it was announced here today by Samuel Malamud, the lawyer for the late author.
(A memorial meeting for Zweig will be held in New York tomorrow, Saturday, arranged by the Aufbau, the organ of Jews from the Reich who succeeded in escaping to the United States. Speakers at the meeting will include Emil Ludwig, Klaus Mann, Ferdinand Czernin, Albrecht Schaeffer and Bertold Fiertel.)
