The first Yiddish translation of “Faust,” the famous work of Goethe, will be published in Soviet Russia, it was announced here today.
The translation was completed this week by E. Fininberg, the well-known Yiddish poet. It will be published by the Emes Publishing House, which is an official publishing enterprise of the Communist Party.
