Some 1,000 Jews who escaped the Holocaust as children are converging on London this week for a three-day reunion to mark the 60th anniversary of their flight. Almost 10,000 children, mostly Jews, from Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia were saved in the Kindertransports when Britain granted entry visas to children between 1938 and 1940.
