Six former chairs of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and dozens of other U.S. Jewish leaders were among the 328 people who signed a full-page ad in The New York Times supporting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak’s peace policies. “The overwhelming majority of American Jews, and indeed of all Americans, support this peace initiative,” the ad said of the Camp David summit.
