The Silver Shirts, American Fascist and anti-Semitic organization, will hold its first meeting in New York tonight at the Turnhalle at Eighty-fifth Street and Lexington Avenue, in the heart of the German-American colony.

Heretofore the Silver Shirt movement has swept rapidly from Ashville, North Carolina, where it originated at the hands of William Dudley Pelley, through the South and Mid-West.

The movement has been widely propagandized during the last week in New York, where thousands of leaflets have been distributed calling every able-bodied American to the “Christian” cause.
