Several graves and the burial site of an 18th century rabbi were vandalized in Ukraine.
Swastikas and Nazi slogans were spray-painted Monday on the walls of the ohel of Rabbi Levi Itzhak at the Jewish cemetery in Berdichev. The vandals also spray-painted the Ukrainian nationalistic slogan. Berdichev Jewish leaders said they believe it was the same vandals who spray-painted swastikas on the ohel’s wall and shattered its windows last Saturday. Local police are investigating the case. No arrests have been reported.
