Government measures will be taken to stop the anti-Semitic excesses in the University of Bucharest, according to a decision taken at the conference of cabinet members and university deans held yesterday.
The conference decided to remove from the colleges all those students who engage in anti-Semitic riots and to close those departments in which the riots occurred most frequently.
The conference also adopted a resolution to close the University of Bucharest for a full year in case the excesses are renewed.
