Reports published abroad that Jews “in droves” were deserting the town of Kamien-Kozyrski in fear of threatened pogroms were authoritatively stated today to be without foundation.
A delegation of Jews from the town, near Brzesc, scene of a pogrom last week, arrived here yesterday to report on recent disturbances there. Two Jewish traders were seriously wounded in a short-lived outbreak, following which a Zionist leader and a social worker were arrested for allegedly spreading “alarming reports about the security of the Jews.”
