Following a conference with a delegation of Polish officials, the Reich authorities today signed an agreement to discontinue all deportations of Polish “stateless” Jews. The agreement further provides for a “review” of the mass deportation of 14,000 Jews last October on the basis of individual cases. It is not hoped that the deportees will be allowed to return, but it is possible that in a few instances some financial assistance will be given through refunding a small percentage of their property.
