In honor of his fifth anniversary as a spiritual leader of Congregation Oheb Shalom in Newark, N. J., a banquet will be given in honor of Rabbi Leon S. Lang, this Sunday night. Rabbi Lang recently served as president of the National Young Judaea and secretary of the Rabbinical Assembly of the Jewish Theological Seminary.

Active in Hebrew educational endeavor, he is author of “Curriculum for High School Department of the Jewish Religious School.” His associate with the Newark congregation is Dr. Charles I. Hoffman.
