Dr. Ivan Reek, head of the Universal Evangelical Church of Hungary, today visited Lajos Stoekler, president of the Jewish Community here and suggested that Protestants and Jews work together to “fulfill their educational duties to the new social order.” Mr. Stoekler assured the Protestant leader of the Jews’ desire to cooperate and expressed the hope that religious leaders will find a way to realization of humanitarian goals.
