Gert Frobe, the movie actor who played the title role in "Goldfinger," the James Bond film banned by the Israel Government, may be prosecuted as a former member of the Nazi Party, under the Israeli law against Nazis and their aides, if he comes to Israel, Ministry of Justice sources said here today.
The film was banned this week after Frobe admitted that he had been a member of the Nazi Party. Even if the Israeli authorities doe not prosecute him, Frobe can be subject to private complaint and if such a complaint is filed, proceedings must be instituted.
