The name of Professor Hermann Jacobsohn is added to the growing list of martyrs to Nazi anti-Semitism. Prof. Jacobsohn, who held the chair of Indo-Germanic Philology at the University of Marburg, was forced to resign because he was a Jew. Prof. Jacobsohn was 53 years old.
