Youssef Cattaui Pasha, president of the Cairo Jewish Community since 1924, died here today at the age of 81. He headed various industrial and commercial companies and was a member of the Egyptian Senate for more than 15 years until he retired from politics in 1938 and was succeeded in the Senate by his son Aslan Bey Cattaui.
