Rosser Chinn, president of the Jewish National Fund of Britain, and Mrs. Chinn, were honored here at a dinner tendered in connection with the planting of a forest in Israel to bear their names. The forest, which will be planted in Achihud in Upper Galilee, will have strategic as well as economic importance.
Of the 50,000 pounds sterling ($140,000) needed for the project, 40,000 pounds sterling ($112,000) have already been contributed by friends and admirers of Mr. and Mrs. Chinn. The dinner was tendered by Michael Sachar, noted British Jewish leader.
