The Braddock Lodge of the B’nai B’rith will be host of the quarterly session of the Western Pennsylvania Council of B’nai B’rith Lodges on Sunday. Delegates from eighteen lodges and some 500 visitors are expected to attend. Following an afternoon meeting, the lodge will hold a banquet at the Jewish Community Center. Judge Joseph Stadfield will be the principal speaker. The committee in charge includes Jack Sherman, Barnhardt Blu-menfeld, Sol Dodolsky, Jacob Adler, Leon Smith, Saul Gershuny, Ben Ochs, Gordon Segal and Dr. Samuel Terris.
Beth-El Congregation in Beechview celebrated the dedication of its new pews Sunday. Honor guests were Mayor William N. McNair of Pittsburgh, Judge Elder A. Marshall, Rabbi Herman Hailperin and Rabbi Goodman A. Rose.
