Jewish leaders and representatives of Jewish community councils from all parts of Pennsylvania participated in sessions here today of the first state-wide conference on eliminating discrimination on work done under government contracts. The conference had as one of its aims the development in Pennsylvania of a coordinated effort to carry out President Eisenhower’s program aimed at elimination of such discrimination. Jacob Seidenberg, executive director of the President’s Committee on Government Contracts, was one of the main speakers.
