Demand for Palestinian wines is growing, not only among Jewish consumers but also among non-Jews who now recognize the superior quality of these wines, declared Harry Mottsman, president of the D. & B. Import Corporation a subsidiary of the Distillers and Brewers Corporation of America, 21 West street. The corporation received a large shipment of Palestine wines last week.

“The demand for wines from Rishon-le-Zion has greatly increased here since the repeal of prohibition,” Mr. Mottsman told The Jewish Daily Bulletin. “We have received orders from all over the country. In fact, our first shipment, which came in last week proved to be so satisfactory and the demand was so great that, in spite of its size, we find that we cannot fill more than ten per cent of our orders. It was therefore necessary to cable to Palestine for another shipment.”

Mr. Mottsman told the Bulletin that the wine cellars of Rishonle-Zion, which were founded by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, are ## ping and flourishing.
