The attitude of the Palestine government concerning the reorganization of the British gendarmerie in Palestine, the creation of an Arab frontier force, from which Jews were to be excluded, will undergo a change, it was learned here today from reliable sources.

Due to the protest of the Jewish population, submitted to the High Commissioner, and intervention with the British Colonial Office, the question will be reconsidered and a new ordinance will soon be published, it was stated here.

Beginning in April, the Palestine and Transjordanian forces will be united under the supreme command of the High Commissioner, Lord Plumer. A constitution for Transjordania will be published during the month of May, it was stated.
