The sum of $2,649,000 was spent by the Palestine Foundation Fund of the United Palestine Appeal during the sixteen months from October, 1935, to February, 1937, for the primary needs of 43,972 Jews who entered Palestine in that period, it was announced today by the United Palestine Appeal.
