Palestine coast guards today seized the Greek steamer Assima as it was trying to unload 200 Jewish refugees from central Europe who had no immigration visas. They charged that about 50 other refugees had been landed before the vessel was discovered. Passengers and crew were arrested. Another 78 Jewish refugees from Germany, who arrived at Tel Aviv on the steamship Taiki without visas, were not permitted to disembark.
