A new freighter, named the Negba, has been launched in a Bremen shipyard which built the vessel for the Zim-Israel Shipping Line, it was announced here today.
The motorship, a sister craft of the Ampal, which recently made its maiden voyage to the United States, weighs 15,000 tons. It has a speed in excess of 16 knots and will be equipped with the most modern navigational and cargo handling equipment.
