The Nazi church authorities have ordered all German churches to eliminate the word “hallelujah” from prayers because “the word is Hebrew and alien,” it was announced yesterday at the Nazi church convention at Tilsit.
Other words “of similar origin” will be ordered eliminated from prayer texts, the convention was told by Church Commissioner Sritzewski of East Prussia.
Signs announcing. “This is a German enterprise, we are members of the Labor Front,” sprouted all over Berlin for the first time since the Olympic period. Reappearance of the signs were taken as indication of official resumption of the anti-Jewish boycott.
