Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt returned to New York today from a nine-day tour of Israel which she revisited after an absence of three years. During her tour Mrs. Roosevelt revisited Youth Aliyah and Hadassah-supported institutions and settlements which she had seen on her earlier trip. She also inspected welfare, educational and cultural projects supported by the Joint Distribution Committee, other United Jewish Appeal beneficiary agencies and the ORT in Israel and Europe.
