Mrs. Leon Isabella Mandel, 80, wife of Leon Mandel, founder of the Mandel Brothers department store, is dead here. Her oldest son, Frederick Leon Mandel, died in Paris last September. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ida Mandelbaum, Mrs. Louis Strauss, Mrs. Joseph Wineman and Miss Florence Mandel, a son Robert Mandel, two brothers, Samuel and Isaac Foreman, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday with Rabbi Louis I. Mann officiating. The burial will be at Rosehill.
