Religious Heritage of America announced today that it would confer its 1967 Layman of the Year Award on Max M. fisher, national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, The announcement was made by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, chairman of the RHA Awards Committee. Mr. Fisher will receive the award at the organization’s annual awards banquet at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington on June 29.
