The cornerstone for the new Yeshiva in Hebron was laid yesterday in the presence of representatives of the Palestine government and prominent Jewish institutions.
Heschl Farbstein, of the Jewish Agency, Rabbi Uziel and other well-know persons spoke. Azdullah Kardous, Hebron district officer, addressed the gathering and said that the achievements of one community would be helpful to the development of surrounding communities.
“I hope Arab-Jewish relations are improving,” said Abdullah Kardous.
