The first Jewish freighter is captained by a Jewish woman, Mrs. Israel Itan of Tel Aviv.
The ship has been assigned the first license number issued by the Jaffa Port. It will carry merchandise between Palestine, Egypt, Syria and Cyprus. A. Hodorov is the ship’s owner.
